What is this tool?
Estimates the climate impact of a flight in kg (or tonnes) of CO₂-equivalent. Pick two major airports for an automatic great-circle distance — with the ICAO Carbon Emissions Calculator routing correction — or type a distance directly. Emissions use the UK Government (DESNZ/DEFRA) per-passenger-kilometer conversion factors by haul length and cabin class, including the radiative-forcing uplift for high-altitude effects. Fleet-average figures, so treat results as a planning-grade estimate.
