What is this tool?
Computes hyperfocal distance for a focal length, aperture, and sensor size (reusing the same crop-factor / CoC presets as the depth-of-field calculator). When you focus at that distance, the acceptably sharp range runs from the near limit to infinity.
How to use it
- Enter focal length and aperture.
- Choose a sensor size / crop-factor preset.
- Read hyperfocal distance and the near→∞ sharp range.
