Thevenin Equivalent Calculator
Vth and Rth for labeled simple configurations.
Configuration
Thevenin voltage Vth
6 V
Thevenin resistance Rth
500 Ω
What is this tool?
Thévenin’s theorem replaces a linear network seen from two terminals with an equivalent voltage source Vth and series resistance Rth. This tool covers a few common textbook configurations so you can practice finding those equivalents.
How to use it
- Choose a configuration and enter the component values.
- Read Vth and Rth.
- Cross-check with your own circuit analysis for anything beyond the presets.
