What is this tool?
When mixing two fuels (or approximating an ethanol blend from component prices), blended unit cost is the volume-weighted average of each price. Enter prices and parts in the mix to see cost per gallon or liter.
How to use it
- Label each fuel and enter its price.
- Set mix parts (e.g. 3 and 1 for a 3:1 blend).
